Why We Built This Site
Georgia gives the public broad access to court records, but the hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. In Evans County, the Clerk of Superior Court handles Superior, State, and Juvenile Court records from the courthouse in Claxton. Magistrate Court handles small civil claims, dispossessory cases, warrant applications, bonds, and first appearances. Probate Court handles estates, guardianships, marriage licenses, firearms licenses, and vital-record functions. The Evans County Sheriff's Office handles sheriff records, while jail custody information may also require the Tattnall County roster or state custody tools.
